Floating Pneumatic Rubber Fenders, whose basic body construction consists of outer rubber layers, synthetic-cord-reinforced rubber layers and inner rubber layers, are kind of cylindrical airbags with hemispherical heads at both ends. All of these are vulcanized together, and then compress air inside to enable it to float on the water. The structure of Rubber Pneumatic Fenders:
 
Inner rubber layer
The inner rubber layer seals the air inside, utilizing a compound with airtight quality.
 
Outer rubber layer
The outer rubber layer protects the cord layer and inner layer from abrasion and other external forces. This compound has sufficient tensile and tear strength to withstand any weather condition and hard usage.
 
Cord layers
The cord layers are arranged at ideal angles to hold the internal pressure and to distribute the stress evenly. 
 
End flanges A valve for air charge and a hang ring are incorporated in the end flange; its type of construction may be variety according to the size of fender and the hang mode.
