Pneumatic rubber fenders are well constructed according to ISO 17357: 2002 which ensure the quality and performance of fenders anytime for clients. Also, each of the pneumatic fender from NANHAI AIRBAG is strictly inspected by the third party like CCS, ABS, BV, DNV, LR. And before delivery, the fenders are tested and inspected internally. Comparing with Yokohama fenders, the pneumatic rubber fenders from NANHAI AIRBAG owns a thicker body and performs same with Yokohama fenders. .

1,This fender is made of synthetic-cord-reinforced rubber sheets with compressed air inside to enable it to float on the water and work as a protective medium. Therefore, pneumatic rubber fenders serves as a critical protective medium against collision when ship-to ship(STS)transfer operations and ship-to-dock(STD)berthing and mooring operations.


2, they are ideal for permanent and semi-permanent port applications, as well as for offshore ship to ship transfers.


3,Itis an ideal ship protection medium used extensively by large tankers, LPG vessels, ocean platforms, bulk carriers and floating structures, large docks, harbor and wharfs.

in the world today.It uses compressed air as medium to absorb the impact energy 

when ship-to-ship contact(STS) and ship-to-berthing(STB).

 

 

Yokohama Fender Specifications and Performance
 
The yokohama fenders are kind of a cylindrical air-bag with hemispherical heads at both end. Basic body construction of this fender consists of an outer rubber layer, cord layers and inner rubber layer. All of these are vulcanized together. End flanges are at both end for convenience of air charge and other purposes.
